Deon M. Franklin

Overview

Deon Franklin is an Associate in the firm’s Phoenix office. He joined the firm in 2023, and his practice encompasses community association and condominium law, employment law, and insurance defense. Deon advises clients on governing document interpretation and amendment, covenant enforcement, and general counsel matters, and represents associations, non-profits, and businesses in a broad range of employment and insurance-related disputes.

Deon earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Before attending law school, he graduated from Marquette University with degrees in International Business and Finance. During his time at Marquette, Deon was a member of the Men’s Basketball Team and earned recognition on the Big East All-Academic Team and the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

Originally from Italy, Deon moved to the United States to pursue his education and athletic career. A native Italian speaker, he is also conversational in Spanish. Outside of the office, Deon enjoys playing basketball, supporting his favorite Italian soccer team, and hiking the scenic trails of Sedona with his wife.
