Javier represents homeowner associations and condominium associations, businesses and non-profit organizations throughout Arizona, New Mexico and Utah. He has expertise in assisting boards with complex problems involving maintenance disputes, insurance claims, interpreting covenants, bylaws and rules, reviewing contracts, gaining owner compliance, dealing with owner versus owner disputes, addressing discrimination claims and complying with state and federal law.
Nick Nogami, a member of the Firm since 2015, specializes in insurance defense litigation. His practice spans cases involving employment, real estate, and premises liability disputes. With a track record of successful trial and arbitration outcomes, Nick also offers corporate counsel services, including contract drafting, legal opinions, and administrative representation. Graduating from the University of Arizona with a Juris Doctor and having an undergraduate background from Arizona State University, Nick, originally from Indiana, is now based in Tucson. Outside work, he embraces golf, outdoor activities, and attending sports events.
Mark Sahl, Shareholder and Co-Managing Partner at CHDB Law, leads the Insurance Defense practice group, showcasing a wealth of trial experience. He navigates cases spanning from irregular board meetings and removal actions to complex architectural review matters. Offering general counsel insights, Mark, a Certified Public Accountant, advises on Board duties, risk minimization and taxation. Beyond work, he cherishes time with his family.
